Vince Chircop and daughters Emma & Georgia have been building
their 5 window coupe for the past 3 years and their attention
to detail is obvious on close inspection. The rod has been detailed
from top to bottom.
The ALL STEEL 33 5 window is so perfectly straight and smooth
that it could be mistaken as a glass body thanks to the magic
body work performed by VEHICLE DEVELOPMENT in Sunshine. The
2" chopped body and chassis are painted in Monza red two
pac paint also applied by VEHICLE DEVELOPMENT.
The rod has a 4 bar rear end with coil over shocks and a highly
detialed t-model front end.
Power is supplied by a 427 chev big block with a 671 FISHER
blower and a pair of 750 HOLLEY double pumper carbs topped of
with a BDS scoop producing around 800 hp. Trans is turbo 400
with manual valve body and 3000 hi stall converter. The 9"
Detroit locker diff with 4.11 gears transfers all the power
to those massive 22" PRO TRAC sc 445 tyres fitted on 15"x15"
WELD RACING WHEELS and up front a pair of 15"X3" WELD
RACING WHEELS with 145 Michelins.
Inside the rod has AUTO METER gauges and a polished steering
coloum with a billet steering wheel and a B&M shifter.
The tan leather upholstery is being prepared by A GRADE MOTOR
TRIMMERS in Campbellfield.
Cooling for the rod has been taken care of by D&D RADIATORS
in Sunshine.
Electrics were handled by MELTIA AUTO ELECTRICS in Newport.
ROAD RUNNER WINDSCREENS added clear side and rear glass and
a custom made ceramic edge windscreen with a rubber moulding.
