Peter Papantoniou's 1968 Mustang fastback is a perfect
example of
why these vehicles are so popular world wide and still such
a sort after
muscle car. Peters fastback has undergone a three year ground
up
resto using 90% original parts. Peter has had a passion since
childhood to own such a vehicle and now uses the mustang to
promote
his companys range of stereo and car security systems. The mustang
has proven to be an excellent way to promote such systems as
"NITREX , DOMINATOR , AUDIOBARN and WARLOCK SECURITY "
systems that his company 3RD MILLENIUM promotes at all major
car
shows around Australia where the mustang has picked up several
trophies while on display.
The mustang is painted in a stunning Mercedes silver with full
black
interior. Motor is a small block 302 Ford with C10 automatic
trans and
"Ford 9"" rear end, Shelby front and rear suspension
and four wheel disc"
brakes. Wheels are DRAGWAY 17x 9 rear and 17x 8 front with
YOKOHAMA tyres all round for grip. The mustang has power steering
air conditioning and power windows fitted. John and Bill of
JOHN
TAVERNA CHASSIS in Melbourne who specialize in the restoration
of 1964 thru 1969 mustangs and early camaros are responsible
for the
incredible work carried out on this fine vehicle that was picked
up from
behind an industrial bin in Falkner 3 years ago. John and Bill
converted
and assembled the mustang with their combined talents into this
beautiful pony car . Road runner installed all new green tint
side glass
rear screen and a full tint banded windscreen.
